The last few months have been exciting times for Mint, with many new projects, several great new hires and the momentous decision to spin off Picklive and with it our beloved Tim, Noam and Krzysztof. (Now promoted to the Mint Hall of Fame.)
It seems a good time to reshuffle a few things at Mint. The aim of these changes is mainly to bring clarity and focus to the business and to ensure that Mint is in great shape to achieve its goals.
Mint's primary goal is to keep creating exceptional, mind-blowing, highly retweetable work. We remain focused on combining the mass-participation possibilities of apps with the audiences that TV and brands can generate. We'll keep seeking opportunities that allow us to develop our creative and technical capabilities.
One way or another, that's what we've been doing for the past five years and that's what we want to continue doing.
- Cameron becomes CEO. He will be responsible for running the business as a business.
- Tom becomes Design Director. He will ensure the design team keeps astounding people with the simple beauty and beautiful simplicity of Mint's work
- Thomas becomes CTO. He will be responsible for running the business as a finishing school for software developers. He is also responsible for everything technology-related that happens at Mint.
I hope you'll join me in congratulating Cameron, Tom and Thomas in their new roles.
