All aboard the Loveboat!

Lunchtime Loveboat

At Doc/Fest on Saturday, Lunchtime Loveboat won the Crossover Labs pitching competition. This award is considered the America's Cup of interactivity.

Lunchtime Loveboat combines the flirty dating of a site like I'm in Like With You with the reality energy of a show like The Salon.

The team was first mate Jim Sayer (Maverick Television), able seaman Tony Cuthbertson (IMP Media), the beautiful Simon Whalley (Framestore) and myself.

Thanks to Frank Boyd and Heather Croall for organising Crossover. Crossover is the most sensible attempt I've experienced to get TV people and computer people to spark creatively and explore the opportunities that each other's medium offers.

(Incidentally, this is the second Crossover success for Mint. Last year Tim was part of the winning 'Museums of our Future' team.)
